Putting anyone or anything ahead of you is idolatry.
You weren’t about to send an idolater to Egypt to free your people!

Is there anything or anyone with whom I’m committing idolatry, Holy Spirit?

If I was counting on my obedience to Your law to save me, Jesus

I’d be doomed to hell.

To say I fall short is not only to state the obvious.

I try with all my might to please You…
