Hold nothing back, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Get up, go away!”
(Micah 2:10)

When they come from You, Jesus

those words rock my world.

It’s so easy to become complacent where I am.

I have my routine.
I know where everything is.
I’ve carved out a spot for myself in this old world.
Even if there are things I don’t like, it’s what I’m used to.

But when You tell me to leave what’s familiar and forge a new path

I will…

as You go before me.

On this Christmas day, pray this Lazaroo with bottomless trust:

“…they…stayed there three days…”
(Joshua 2:22)

So how long do You want me to stay where I am, Jesus?

A day? Three? A year?
For the rest of my life?

It’s good to know I’m where You want me

but to presume I will never move
is a mistake.

You want me to enjoy where You’ve placed me

but not to become complacent, thinking
“Now I know how this is going to play out.”

No.
Huh-uh.
I don’t know.
