Pray this Lazaroo with unshakable belief:

“…many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.”
(John 2:23-25)

I wouldn’t blame You for not entrusting Yourself to me, Jesus.

You know exactly what’s in me.

But You did!

You gave Yourself for me on the cross!

to purify me until inside and out
I think, speak and behave

like one of Your own.

Accept the honor, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything set them an example by doing what is good…”
(Titus 2:6-7)

I can’t just tell them how to behave, can I, Jesus?

I’ve got to show them what it looks like.

Of course, it’s a whole lot easier to point the way
than to lead the way.

But that’s only fair.

Because it’s a lot harder for them to follow my advice
than to nod with an indulgent smile
pretending to agree.
