(Joshua 5:4-5)

Why do I put off doing the right thing, Jesus?

Why don’t I instantly obey?

It’s a spirit of rebellion, isn’t it?

Disguising my disobedience behind:

“Yes, I’m going to do it…but not right now.”

Away with that ugly sin, LORD!

They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight.”

My country’s disobedience has reached this very level, Jesus.

The God-defiant are gathering in large numbers
carousing in broad daylight.

Your judgment is on its way.

Please help me rescue as many as possible
before it’s too late.

when we disobey You:
