my Ruler

You’re my God

Creator of all
the One I worship
the One who chose me
the All-Powerful
the One who brought me into this world
the One who will take me out

You’re my LORD and God

Mine!

Not only do I belong to You…

You belong to me.

Pray this Lazaroo in the fear of God:

“The LORD brings death…”
(1 Samuel 2:6)

I don’t like to think of You this way, Jesus!

I prefer to honor You as the Author of Life.

But You’re both, aren’t You?

There’s no escaping it.

You’re either LORD of all…

or no LORD at all.

You brought me into this world

and You can take me out.

Please preserve my life for as long as You know it’s best

but when my work is done
take me out.
