That’s hard for me to grasp, Jesus.

Your glory is blindingly great
marvelous, magnificent
beyond adequate description.

To be told You’re calling me into that?

Surely not
Not I.

Not this filthy, sinning, slipping and falling soul.

And yet…

How can I refuse You anything?
How dare I miss what You’ve prepared for me?

Too often I’ve played the fool.

But not this time.

If You’re calling, I’m coming.

Yes.
Oh, yes!

as You want me to do.

They work hard to develop those gifts
as You tell me to do.

They focus relentlessly on their goal
as You call me to do.

When they fall short, they get up and try again
as You enable me to do.
