Pray this Lazaroo in utter gratitude:

“The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator. A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one. Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.”
(Galatians 3:19-21)

The law is holy, righteous and good, Jesus!

but sinner that I am

I keep falling short of Your high standard.

Thank You for Your mercy, Jesus!

and for Your atoning death in my behalf on the cross.

Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“…whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God. Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.”
(Romans 3:19-20)

Well, I’m certainly conscious of mine, Jesus.

My sins stare me in the face.
I live with their consequences.

But Hallelujah!

Through my faith in Your death and resurrection
I’m no longer under the law!

Pray this Lazaroo in zealous love:

“Barak said to her, ‘If you go with me, I will go; but if you don’t go with me, I won’t go.’ ‘Certainly I will go with you,’ said Deborah. ‘But because of the course you are taking, the honor will not be yours, for the Lord will deliver Sisera into the hands of a woman.’”
(Judges 4:8-9)

Through Your prophet Deborah

You commanded Barak to battle Israel’s enemies.

But he was unwilling to go without Deborah.

May I always obey You LORD
regardless of who tags along.
