You know those who are Yours, Jesus –

no matter where we are
no matter what label has been placed on us
no matter what anyone thinks.

What’s my clan, Jesus?

My family of origin?
My circle of friends?
The people at work?
My neighbors?
My state?
My country?
My church?

Could I possibly have more than one clan?

Maybe…but why does any of that matter?

Well…because the people I’m with influence me, don’t they?

…and I them.

Show me who You want to make up my clan, Father!

…and help me leave every clan
injurious to my spiritual health.
