“…the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord…”
(Habakkuk 2:14)

Oh, what a day that will be, Jesus!

I can’t wait.

Literally, I can’t wait –

meaning, I dare not wait.

You’ve given me the task of sharing Your good news

with everyone around me.

I’m not responsible for what they do with it

but You hold me accountable
to do everything in my power
to make sure they hear about You
in as clear and compelling a way as possible.

Pray this Lazaroo with eyes-wide-open confidence:

“…kings and rulers of the earth…built for themselves places now lying in ruins…”
(Job 3:14)

That’s the hard, brutal truth, Jesus:

Whatever I build here on earth
will end up in ruins.

Doesn’t matter how well I build
how amazing and compelling my cause
who I thoroughly train to carry on after me.

One day it will crumble.
The day after, people will hardly remember it was there.

Only what I do for, in and through You

will last.
