Get your, “Yes Sir!” ready, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘These people say, “The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.”’ Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai…”

You hear our complaints, Jesus.

They grate on Your ears.

When we insist we don’t have time

to take care of the things that matter to You

we’re about to learn the hard way:

We should have kept our mouths shut.

You’ll appoint someone
to deliver the news.

Learn from this bad example, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“If someone ventures a word with you, will you be impatient? But who can keep from speaking?”
(Job 4:2)

And so it begins to unravel, Jesus.

Job’s three friends were awesome
as long as they kept silent.

But now, Job’s friend Eliphaz can’t endure Job’s complaints without rebuking him.

Like Job, Eliphaz totally misreads what’s going on.
But that doesn’t stop him from giving his judgmental opinion.

How often have I done that, Father –

made a suffering person’s load heavier?
