Take heed! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“You take away my blessing…”
(Micah 2:9)

You want to bless us, Jesus.

You love to bless us.
You long to bless us!

But if we persist in our sins

we prevent You from blessing us as you so deeply desire.

Oh, in Your loving mercy You continue to bless us in countless ways –

in ways we so often ignore –

but not nearly as much as You would have blessed us

if only we had stayed true to You.

I do have encouragement, Jesus!

And I know where it comes from:

You.

Satan is the discourager.

You’re the Encourager.

Every day – in countless ways –

You show Yourself strong for me.

Of course, I have to have eyes to see it.

Some days I don’t.

I’m so focused on the one or two things I don’t like

that I fail to see the innumerable evidences
of Your love, mercy and grace.
