Pray this Lazaroo in grateful awe:

“He was chosen before the creation of the world…”
(1 Peter 1:20)

Yes, You were, Jesus

because it was by You and for You that the world was created.

In fact, You and I have that in common –

not the “creating the world” part –
but the “chosen before the creation of the world” part.

You chose me

then created a world in which I could live

and love
and learn
and thrive

and grow to be more like You.

Be in awe, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him…”
(Colossians 1:19)

Wow.

That pretty much says it, Jesus:

All there is of God
is in You.

You…are God.

The Creator.
LORD of all.

No wonder when Phillip begged You to show him the Father You told him:

“Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.”

No wonder, when You identified Yourself to the soldiers who had come to arrest you

they fell to the ground.

So do I.
