Pray this Lazaroo in the holy fear of the LORD:

“…the Lord met Moses and was about to kill him. But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched Moses’ feet with it. ‘Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,’ she said…referring to circumcision.”
(Exodus 4:24-26)

Had Moses refused to obey You because of his wife, Jesus?

Putting anyone or anything ahead of you is idolatry.
You weren’t about to send an idolater to Egypt to free your people!

Is there anything or anyone with whom I’m committing idolatry, Holy Spirit?

“Every one of you that I do not cut off from serving at my altar I will spare only to destroy your sight and sap your strength, and all your descendants will die in the prime of life. And what happens to your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, will be a sign to you—they will both die on the same day.”

You’re longsuffering, Jesus.

For such a very long time You refrain from punishing.

But when we despise Your patience as weakness…

Take the words of this Lazaroo as a personal warning:

“On the day I punish Israel for her sins, I will destroy the altars of Bethel; the horns of the altar will be cut off and fall to the ground.”
(Amos 3:14)

You have to be pretty angry to destroy your own altar, Jesus!

But it was because Your people had made a mockery of it.

They kept going through the motions of worshiping You

but their sinful lives made it clear:

Their devoted words
were nothing but lies.
