Pray this Lazaroo in deep trust:

“And this will be the sign to you…”
(Exodus 3:12)

It’s just human nature to want a sign, Jesus –

especially when it’s something counterintuitive.

Sometimes You give Your people a sign.

But not typically.

Most of the time, You want me to take You at Your Word

plus nothing.

If I demand a sign from You before I obey, that’s me saying:

“Prove it!”

which is detestable

because You’ve already proven Yourself to me
over and over and over again.

“Men committed indecent acts with other men…”
(Romans 1:27)

You just lay it right out there, don’t You, Jesus?

As with heterosexual sin, Your Word makes it clear:
homosexual acts aren’t new.

You detested that perversion thousands of years ago
and continue to do so today.

For a while, homosexuality went underground.

No longer.

Today it’s out and proud

doing its best to become mainstream
recognized as a civil right

just as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.
