Pray this Lazaroo in humble gratitude.

“I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple…”
(Malachi 3:1)

You told us the name of that messenger, Jesus:

John the Baptist.

You Yourself are the Lord they were seeking who came to Your temple.

Though You came to Your own
they didn’t believe in You.

But there were some who believed in You.

To this day, all who do
have become Yours –

heart, mind, body and soul.

Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.”
(1 Corinthians 2:8)

It seems so clear to me, Jesus –

why not them?

They saw You face-to-Face, in the flesh!

…while I never have.

They were witnesses to Your miracles!

…while I’ve only read about them.

They heard You speak!

…while I still eagerly long to hear Your voice.

But You’ve granted me

the gift of faith.
