Pray this Lazaroo with growing understanding:

“But now many nations are gathered against you. They say, ‘Let her be defiled, let our eyes gloat over Zion!’ But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord; they do not understand his plan, that he has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor.”
(Micah 4:11-12)

I don’t understand all the details of Your Plan either, Jesus.

But I am 100% confident of Your Plan’s Big Picture:

You will punish those who defy You
and save those who turn  to You!

Pray this Lazaroo in humble circumspection:

“Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task.”
(1 Timothy 3:1)

It’s natural, Jesus –

to look at what one of Your leaders is doing and think:

“I’d like to do that!”

It’s a noble thing to want to serve You.

They are to be commended, encouraged, helped,
guided, taught, prayed over.

But O God!

May only those You’ve truly called pursue that course

because in truth

they know not what they ask.
