“The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise.”

You keep Your promises, Jesus –

no matter what happens in the meantime
no matter how long I have to wait.

The people who enter my home influence me, Jesus

for good or bad.

They can encourage me in the right direction

or hinder me from following You with my whole heart.

The people I permit to enter my home

also send a message to everyone on the outside.

Rightly or wrongly, my acceptance of them
causes people to conclude I agree with them.
