Pray this Lazaroo in won’t back down confidence:

“Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day…”
(Habakkuk 3:2)

I am so tired of people saying it doesn’t do any good to pray, Jesus!

Many believe You no longer perform miracles.

But You’re the same  –  

yesterday, today and forever!

There’s nothing You can’t do!

Every miracle You’ve performed in the past
You’re fully able to do today.

So along with Habakkuk I beg You:

Do it again!

Pray this Lazaroo in trusting confidence:

“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘These people say, “The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.”’”
(Haggai 1:2)

That doesn’t sound like discernment, Jesus.

It sounds like laziness.

May I never put off doing Your will because it requires a lot of work!

And by the same token:

May I never put off doing Your will
because I realize my very best work won’t be enough!

May I always trust that Your All-Powerful Hand

will be able to accomplish what I cannot!

Pray this Lazaroo with laser focused intent:

“As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you.”
(1 John 2:24)

It doesn’t do much good, Jesus

to hear the great, life-changing truths of Your Word

then fail to remember them

not build every aspect of my life upon them.

You’ve told me to see to it that I don’t let that happen.

That means I’m the one responsible.

If I don’t do it
I have no one to blame but myself.

Pray this Lazaroo with total transparency:

“So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.”
(Genesis 3:23-24)

It doesn’t sound like we’re getting back in there, Jesus.

Certainly not here on this earth.

But there’s a better place than the Garden of Eden, isn’t there?

Heaven!

And for all who put their faith and trust in You

Angels won’t keep us out.
They’ll usher us in.
