Pray this Lazaroo with immediate correction:

“All those who came out of Egypt—all the men of military age—died in the wilderness on the way after leaving Egypt. All the people that came out had been circumcised, but all the people born in the wilderness during the journey from Egypt had not.”
(Joshua 5:4-5)

Why do I put off doing the right thing, Jesus?

Why don’t I instantly obey?

It’s a spirit of rebellion, isn’t it?

Disguising my disobedience behind:

“Yes, I’m going to do it…but not right now.”

Away with that ugly sin, LORD!

“What then do I gain by being wise?”

We all want a payoff, Jesus

I’m no exception.

When we do the right thing

we want something good to happen…

to us.

But am I okay if doing the right thing blows up in my face

so long as it advances Your kingdom
and pleases You?

Am I okay if doing the right thing

doesn’t pay off till heaven?

If not

I’m not really doing the right thing.
