Pray this Lazaroo with every fiber of your being:

“All the Levites who were musicians—Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun and their sons and relatives—stood on the east side of the altar, dressed in fine linen and playing cymbals, harps and lyres. They were accompanied by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord.”
(2 Chronicles 5:12-13)

You’ve given me gifts, too Jesus.

From the bottom of my heart:

Thank You!

May I work to fully develop them

to bring maximum glory to Your Great Name!

Pray this Lazaroo in humble anticipation:

“…you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes. They will walk with me, dressed in white, for they are worthy. The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life…”
(Revelation 3:4-5)

Unlike those in Sardis, Jesus…

I’ve soiled my clothes.
I’ve sinned.

But I’ve cried out to You!

I’ve confessed, repented
put all my trust in You.

Great God of mercy:

Clothe me in white!

Pray this Lazaroo in holy, grateful fear:

“Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel.”
(Zechariah 3:3)

Not exactly the attire you want to be wearing in front of an angel, Jesus.

On second thought, You’ve assigned an angel to me

which means he’s seen me with and without
every piece of clothing I’ve ever owned.

It’s a little unnerving

to realize in this room with me right now
could be the invisible, protective presence
of someone so powerful

but incredibly comforting.
