Pray this Lazaroo in confidence and respect:

“…for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Ephesians 3:9-11)

You’ve got a plan, Jesus.

It’s a beautiful, perfect, awesome plan.

And nothing in this world or the next has the power to thwart it!

Pray this Lazaroo with growing eagerness:

“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed…”
(2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)

May I pray that prayer over others, Jesus

and may others pray it over me.

Oh, how we need You to encourage and strengthen us

as in Your Name we perform good deed after good deed!

Pray this Lazaroo in passionate gratitude:

“’…I have chosen you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.’”
(Haggai 2:23)

To be chosen for something good is gratifying, Jesus.

But to be chosen by You?

Priceless.

Before You ever chose me

You knew me
because You made me.

You knew the countless sins I would commit
the mistakes I’d make

and still You chose me!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

No matter what I face

no matter what trials You take me through

may I never forget that eternally life-changing fact!

Pray this Lazaroo with white-hot fervor:

” to…Archippus our fellow soldier…”
(Philemon 1:2)

Paul knew, Jesus:

We’re in a war.

Right against wrong.
Good against evil.
God against Satan.

In a war, you’ve gotta have soldiers

and Paul was so grateful for Archippus!

Like Paul

I’m grateful for every soldier who understands this war
and comes alongside me in the fight.

Most wars are life and death –

small potatoes compared to this one –

which is eternal life and death.

With stakes this high

I need every fellow soldier You provide!

Pray this Lazaroo with every fiber of your being:

“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you…”
(2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)

Oh, do I need Your strength, Jesus!

Strength to obey You no matter what.
S
trength to bear up under the hard times.
Strength to stay true to You during the good times.
Strength to overcome Satan’s temptations.
Strength to stay faithful to You…

right up to the moment You call me home.

Pray this Lazaroo with inexpressible gratitude:

“There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.”
(Hebrews 4:9-11)

I rest, Jesus –

from my futile work of attempting to earn my salvation.

I can’t – no matter how hard I try.

I confess that my faith in You –

Your death, burial and resurrection –

is my only hope for eternal life!

Pray this Lazaroo in heart-pounding anticipation:

“…the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.”
(Daniel 2:44)

That’s my kingdom, Jesus!

Not interested in any of these kingdoms on earth.
Every one of them is doomed.

No, because of my faith in You alone

You’ve called me into Your Kingdom of Light
which has no end!

Hallelujah!

Hold nothing back, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope…”
(2 Thessalonians 2:16)

What a reminder, Jesus!

There’s more than one kind of hope.

There’s hope

bad hope

and good hope.

Some things I hope for are just “hope.”

They’re fine…but they don’t really make anything better.

Other things I hope for are “bad hope.”

If I get them, they’ll end up hurting me.

But You Are the Giver of Good Hope!

which is –

all good!

Pray this Lazaroo in mounting excitement:

“…our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement…”
(2 Thessalonians 2:16)

Oh, Jesus.

Thank You for eternal encouragement!

I’ve never known anything else like it.

All other encouragement on this earth is short-lived.

Hopeful today…discouraged tomorrow.
Happy today…sad tomorrow.
Feeling good today…feeling bad tomorrow.

But Yours is the encouragement that never wanes.

In fact, as I draw closer to the day I draw my last breath

it keeps getting stronger.

Pray this Lazaroo with undying love:

“…you have an anointing from the Holy One…”
(1 John 2:20)

I can’t begin to tell you how much that means to me, Jesus!

Though I’m wholly undeserving

because I’ve put my eternal hope in You as my Savior

Your anointing rests on me.

Your Protection.
Your Presence.
Your Guidance.
Your Blessing.
Your Healing.
Your Favor.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

I can’t keep this to myself, can I?

Everyone needs Your precious, life-changing anointing.

Please work through me to let them know.
