Pray this Lazaroo with riveted attention:

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.”
(Proverbs 4:23-24)

When You tell me, “Above all else,” Jesus

that’s something I dare not ignore.

You’re telling me to love what You love

and nothing else.

Only then will my mouth be free of perversity

my lips from corrupt talk.

And since I have to guard my heart

that tells me Satan is attempting to steal it.

What an amazing promise You made to Your people, Jesus!

I love knowing that’s who You Are.

Because when I’m facing overwhelming odds
I know I’m not alone.

You’re Able to do for me
what I could never do for myself.
