Pray this Lazaroo with unshakable belief:

(1 Chronicles 6:49)

This altar of incense was Your idea, Father

about 18 inches square
maybe three feet high

made of acacia wood
overlaid with pure gold

the famous “horns of the altar” built into it
where those who feared for their lives ran to take hold.

No longer!

thanks to Your Son’s death on the cross in my behalf
the most fragrant offering of all time.

Pray this Lazaroo with pure devotion:

“…held in slavery by their fear of death.”
(Hebrews 2:15)

Death does that, Jesus

so long as I’m afraid to die.

Well…I am.

Some days a little
some days a lot.

I know better.

Because of my faith in You
I don’t have to fear death.

The moment I breathe my last here
I open my eyes there

with You
in heaven
forever.

That’s not the part I’m afraid of.

It’s the pain I may have to endure
to get there.
