Pray this Lazaroo in total trust:

“…they will have control over all the fruit of my toil into which I have poured my effort and skill under the sun.”
(Ecclesiastes 2:19)

Solomon’s nervous about what his heirs are going to do after he’s gone, Jesus.

I’m sure my parents had some of those same thoughts about me.
Maybe I’ll feel the same toward my kids!

But what matters isn’t the stuff I leave behind, is it?

It’s the quality of my children’s 1on1 relationship

with You.

Pray this Lazaroo in devoted passion:

“…even though they are strangers to you.”

Countless people are strangers to me, Jesus

but none is a stranger to You.

That knowledge totally changes my mindset, my spirit, my emotions

when I meet someone for the first time.

I realize You made them.
They’re Your idea.

Their gifts, talents, personality
are all designed by You.

How can I not be open to the wonder of them –

and hope they will feel the same about me?
