Pray this Lazaroo with earnest desire:

“Now I will tell you what I am going to do to my vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it will be destroyed; I will break down its wall, and it will be trampled. I will make it a wasteland, neither pruned nor cultivated, and briers and thorns will grow there. I will command the clouds not to rain on it.”
(Isaiah 5:5-6)

I never want to turn You into my enemy, Jesus!

Please keep me close to You.
Please – never let me stray.

I choose to stay in deep, daily, moment-by-moment, 1on1 relationship with You

forever.

Pray this Lazaroo in won’t back down confidence:

“Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day…”
(Habakkuk 3:2)

I am so tired of people saying it doesn’t do any good to pray, Jesus!

Many believe You no longer perform miracles.

But You’re the same  –

yesterday, today and forever!

There’s nothing You can’t do!

Every miracle You’ve performed in the past
You’re fully able to do today.

So along with Habakkuk I beg You:

Do it again!

Pray this Lazaroo with faith in the One who’s in charge:

“I saw that all who lived and walked under the sun followed the youth, the king’s successor. There was no end to all the people who were before them. But those who came later were not pleased with the successor.”
(Ecclesiastes 4:15-16)

And that’s how it goes, doesn’t it, Jesus?

None of us is on top forever.
Some of us are on top

never.

People are fickle.
Times change.

But You never do!

I am so thankful that it’s not the crowd
that decides my fate.

It’s You!

Thank God, it’s You.

Pray this Lazaroo with resolute intent:

“‘I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever.’ While the whole assembly of Israel was standing there, the king turned around and blessed them. Then he said: ‘Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David.’”
(2 Chronicles 6:2-4)

You always keep Your Word, Jesus!

With Your help

may I do the same.

Pray this Lazaroo with burning emotion:

“Samuel…was afraid to tell Eli the vision, but Eli called him and said, ‘Samuel, my son.’ Samuel answered, ‘Here I am.’ ‘What was it he said to you?’ Eli asked. ‘Do not hide it from me. May God deal with you, be it ever so severely, if you hide from me anything he told you.’”
(1 Samuel 3:15-17)

CHRIST IS RISEN!

May I never be afraid to tell it, Jesus.

May I never hide from anyone
this stunning truth about You!

May the whole world know

what Easter is always and forever about!

Pray this Lazaroo in sober anticipation:

“But who can endure the day of his coming?”
(Malachi 3:2)

I will, Jesus.

So will every person who has put their trust in You.

Nor will we merely endure it.

We will rejoice!
C
elebrate!
Triumph!

But those who’ve rejected You?

Those who refused to make You Lord of their lives?
They won’t be able to endure it.

They’ll weep!
M
ourn!
Wail!

and be thrown into the fiery furnace of burning sulfur
where they will writhe in anguish forever.

Pray this Lazaroo with a yearning soul:

“At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family—from beginning to end. For I told him that I would judge his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God, and he failed to restrain them.”
(1 Samuel 3:12-13)

I, too, have failed to restrain some of the people in my life, Jesus.

Of course, You haven’t given me full control over someone else.

But You have given me a measure of influence.

Please maximize Your mighty power through me
to accomplish what only You can do.

Pray this Lazaroo in humble acknowledgement:

“‘Moab will become like Sodom, the Ammonites like Gomorrah—a place of weeds and salt pits, a wasteland forever. The remnant of my people will plunder them; the survivors of my nation will inherit their land.’ This is what they will get in return for their pride…”
(Zephaniah 2:9-10)

Solomon said it, Jesus:

“Pride goes before destruction,
a haughty spirit before a fall.”

Sadly, he experienced it.

So will I, unless I remember:
You are the Giver of my gifts.

Pray this Lazaroo with compassion:

“Woe to the city of blood, full of lies, full of plunder, never without victims!”
(Nahum 3:1)

That’s what got to You the most, wasn’t it, Jesus?

The victims.

Those who lost their lives due to the monstrous cruelty embedded in Nineveh’s culture.

Those who lost loved ones, grieving without relief.
Broken promises, broken homes, broken lives.

It was all about the victims then

it’s all about the victims now.

You’re the same – yesterday, today and forever.

Our suffering
continues to break Your heart!

Pray this Lazaroo in passionate gratitude:

“‘In that day,’ declares the Lord, ‘I will gather the lame; I will assemble the exiles and those I have brought to grief. I will make the lame my remnant, those driven away a strong nation. The Lord will rule over them in Mount Zion from that day and forever. As for you, watchtower of the flock, stronghold of Daughter Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to Daughter Jerusalem.’”
(Micah 4:6-8)

You love us too much, don’t You, Jesus?

We deserve so much worse.
But You give us so much better.
