Stand strong! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Nebuchadnezzar was furious with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, and his attitude toward them changed. He ordered the furnace heated seven times hotter than usual and commanded some of the strongest soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and throw them into the blazing furnace.”
(Daniel 3:19-20)

That had to be terrifying, Jesus!

They stood strong for You
and it was about to cost them their lives.

Satan set up this moment, confident they would back down.

But they didn’t.

Pray this Lazaroo all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“…he was furious.”
(Matthew 2:16)

There are good reasons to become furious, Jesus

and some not so good.

Fury is a dangerous emotion.

It can negatively affect my judgment
goading me to do something rash.

On the other hand, fury can also embolden me to do what’s right

to take heroic action
without fear of what will happen to me

just so long as it’s Your fury I’m operating in

and not giving in to my own.
