Pray this Lazaroo with unrestrained allegiance:

“Now a man who was lame from birth…asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, ‘Look at us!’ So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.”
(Acts 3:2-5)

He was about to get something all right, Jesus…

but it wasn’t from Peter and John.

It was from You!

He wanted money, but what he needed was to be healed.

That’s what I desire, Father!

Not what I think I want
but what You know I need.

Pray this Lazaroo with utter abandon:

“May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.”
(2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)

I want all my words to be good, Jesus

not just some of them.

But my only hope to achieve that lofty goal

is to stay constantly in tune with You, Holy Spirit!

May every word I speak be fulfilled

because it originates with You!
