I know You talked to Moses, Jesus, which is why we have –

Genesis…Exodus…Leviticus…Numbers…Deuteronomy…
Psalms 90…maybe the book of Job.

You gave Your Word to us through at least 40 different people

over approximately 4,228 years.

When I read the Bible, I’m not reading some person’s made-up ideas.

I’m reading Your Words to me.

That’s why my heart burns within me

when I read, hear and understand Your Word!

Pray this Lazaroo in humble anticipation:

“…he will make a sudden end of all who live on the earth.”
(Zephaniah 1:18)

In the last days, Jesus

that’s what will happen.

You did it once by flood, when You gave Noah the rainbow sign:

no more water
the fire next time.

I’m thankful I missed the first time.

I sure don’t want to stick around for the second!

But this much I do long to experience and see:

Eternal life – in Your new heaven and earth.
