pull me back to You with:

Every time I’m with people who are about to do wrong
give me the courage to take a stand for:

“…as it is written.”

Your Word is a lamp to my feet, a light on my path.

Make me willing to break away from those
who have no Light of dawn.

I can personally attest!

When I’m weak, Your words give me strength.
When I’m afraid, Your words give me courage.
When I’m in pain, Your words bring me healing.
When I’m in despair, Your words fill me with hope.

And on the day when I am about to draw my last breath

Your words give me absolute assurance

of eternal life.
