Pray this Lazaroo with deep reverence:

“…the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.”
(2 Peter 2:9)

You’re not one-sided, Jesus.

You do good to those who put their trust in You.

But You also hold punishment in store
for those who defy You.

You are pure love.

But that means You hate evil
because evil is the enemy of love.

If love is to triumph – and it will –

evil must be smashed.

Take heed! as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…before the day of the LORD’s wrath comes upon you.”
(Zephaniah 2:2)

Because we’ve never seen it, Jesus

it’s impossible to accurately imagine the horror of that day.

Just as no one loves like You

no one’s wrath could begin to compare to Yours.

When we’re doing something wrong and seemingly getting away with it

help us realize – in time! –

that in love You’re holding off a little longer
before the swift destruction of that day slams down.
