Your Father sent that angel to Joseph, Jesus

to let him know the coast was clear to take You back.

Of course, Your Heavenly Father is also

the one who cleared the coast!

The murderous King Herod

was taken out.

I serve the Almighty God who can not only let me know when it’s safe to move

but do whatever it takes
to clear the path.

transferring her humanity to You.

If You weren’t human

You couldn’t have been tempted like I am
couldn’t have died for my sins.

Of course, God was Your Father

making You fully God –

the God-man!

which is why You said “No!” to every temptation
making You the perfect, sinless sacrifice

who rose from the dead to grant me eternal life.

O God!

You are my Father.

But not mine alone.

You’re the Father of us all.

Some of us recognize You

some of us don’t.

But that doesn’t change the fact that it is You who have made us.

We didn’t make ourselves.

My life came through my parents

but not from my parents.

You chose me.
You made me.

All my allegiance I now pledge to You!
