Pray this Lazaroo in passionate gratitude:

“I will…shatter the power of the foreign kingdoms.”
(Haggai 2:22)

When evil kingdoms rise up against us, Jesus

this is Your promise!

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

You control the way and time.

But Your power always prevails!

You almost never do it when or how I expect.

But when You act
I’m humbled and amazed by its absolute perfection.

There are those rising up against us even now, Father!

You know it.
You see it.

When the time is right

You will shatter them to smithereens.

Pray this Lazaroo in flabbergasted wonder:

“…he browses among the lilies.”
(Song of Songs 2:16)

Solomon’s bride is speaking poetically, Jesus.

Solomon isn’t browsing among actual lilies.
He’s making love to his wife.

Literal language has its place

but it can go only so far.

There are some experiences in life that require poetry.

One of the greatest of those is Your love for me!

When I try to grasp the significance
of how Your perfection can choose me
flaws and all

I go tilt.
