We’re not merely to demand respect.
You expect us to earn it.

How?

By the way we speak
by the way we act.

by the way we live our lives wholeheartedly for You – 

staying in Your Word
praying through the day
loving and encouraging Your people

sharing Your Good News
with those who don’t know You

showing others the same mercy
we ourselves have received from You.

not build every aspect of my life upon them.

That means I’m the one responsible.

Your Word is that foundation, Jesus

not because it’s in writing
not because it’s the Bible
but because it’s You.

You Are The Word.

That’s
Solid.

But what means the world to me is knowing I belong to You!

You know me.
You chose me.
You saved me.
I’m Yours.

Not merely for my time on this earth
but through all eternity!
