Pray this Lazaroo with locked-in faith:

“Is there no prophet of the LORD here…?”
(2 Kings 3:11)

Good question, Jesus.

When You place a prophet among us

we need to know it and pay attention
to whatever You proclaim through them.

But praise Your Holy Name!

Prophet or none, I can go to You directly, Holy Spirit!
I can always turn to the sure guidance of Your Word.

That way, when someone shows up claiming to be a prophet

I can check ‘em out. 😉

Pray this Lazaroo with laser-focused intensity:

“Why do we profane the covenant of our fathers…?”
(Malachi 2:10)

Good question, Jesus.

If I had Godly parents, grandparents or ancestors –

any at all!

– why wouldn’t I follow their example?

But if – so far as I know –

nobody in my family was righteous

why wouldn’t I profane their evil covenant with Satan
and make a new covenant with You?

A covenant with You is a powerful thing that should never be broken.

A covenant with Satan must be broken.

Know that God sees and hears as you pray this Lazaroo:

“Jesus looked at him and said…”
(John 1:42)

O Jesus!

What would You say after looking at me?

That’s a good question, isn’t it?

Because You are looking at me.

The more time I spend with You 1on1 –

in prayer and in Your Word –

the more accurately I’m able to know

the words You’re speaking to me.

The question is…

how am I responding?

May it be with only one thing:

heartfelt, unquestioning, no-holds-barred

obedience.
