Take warning, as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…the king summoned Shimei and said to him, ‘Did I not make you swear by the Lord and warn you, “On the day you leave to go anywhere else, you can be sure you will die”? At that time you said to me, ‘What you say is good. I will obey.’”
(1 Kings 2:42)

Solomon set Shimei up for failure, Jesus.

The guy just didn’t have it in himself
to do the right thing for the rest of his life

so his life was cut short.

Pray this Lazaroo with keen anticipation:

“…ruler of the district…”
(Nehemiah 3:14)

That’s rather quaint language, Jesus.

Districts don’t have rulers anymore.
We have leaders, officials, captains…that sort of thing.

Unless…

is there some district You want me to rule?

It wouldn’t necessarily be to rule over people, would it?

They don’t like that too much.

But maybe some “district” of my life?

Could it possibly be a district that Satan is currently ruling?

Wow. Gotcha.

Time for me to step up and take charge.
