Pray this Lazaroo in marveling gratitude:

“…he went and lived in a town called Nazareth.”
(Matthew 2:23)

Your stepdad had no idea he was fulfilling Scripture, did he, Jesus?

He just picked out the town that seemed to be a safer place to live.

How many times do I unknowingly do the same thing with my choices –

the places I live
the vehicles I drive
the relationships I enjoy
the work I do?

Absolutely all of it fits perfectly –

into Your plan for the ages.

Pray this Lazaroo with undiluted sincerity:

“Then Solomon began to build the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD had appeared to his father David.”
(2 Chronicles 3:1)

Was this mere sentiment, Jesus –

Solomon building Your temple
where You appeared to his father?

No.

It was Your plan.
From the very beginning.

At the time Your angel stood over him there

David had no idea.

We seldom do.

But Your purposes are always greater
than we can begin to conceive.
