Pray this Lazaroo in utter amazement:

“…the two officials were hanged on a gallows.”
(Esther 2:23)

When it was discovered that these men were plotting to assassinate the king, Jesus

it cost them their lives.

But this was no isolated, meaningless incident.

You used it as one of an amazing series of events
to save the lives of Your people in Persia and Media.

O God! Your greatness continually astounds me.

You are working in literally everything that happens
large or small.

Including this.

Keep your perspective as you pray this Lazaroo:

“He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, but not as his father and mother had done.”
(2 Kings 3:2)

Sounds like Joram deserves credit, Jesus

until I realize mom and dad
were Ahab and Jezebel.

He could’ve done a lot better than those two

and still deserved to be shot, hanged, beheaded, drawn and quartered.

Like me.

He had no excuse for his sins – even if they paled in comparison to those of others.

Nor do I.
