Pray this Lazaroo in confident desperation:

“His victims are crushed, they collapse; they fall under his strength. He says to himself, ‘God will never notice; he covers his face and never sees.’ Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless.”
(Psalm 10:10-12)

There are times when I feel helpless, Jesus.

This is one of them.

But I’m not helpless, am I?

Not so long as I have You.

And that’s a long time!

Because You’ve promised never to leave me nor forsake me.

Pray this Lazaroo in solemn recognition:

“His mouth is full of lies and threats; trouble and evil are under his tongue. He lies in wait near the villages; from ambush he murders the innocent. His eyes watch in secret for his victims; like a lion in cover he lies in wait. He lies in wait to catch the helpless; he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.”

The key to this description, Jesus?

“…like a lion…”

You’re the Lion of Judah.

Satan is trying to be like You

Sell out totally to God as you pray this Lazaroo:

“…the whole house of Israel is…obstinate.”
(Ezekiel 3:7)

Obstinate is a pretty tough state to be in, Jesus.

Clueless would be better.
So would ignorant.
Helpless.
Stupid.

But obstinate means stubborn.

Hardheaded.
Unwilling.
Mulish.
Self-willed.

Refusing to do it Your way if it means I have to change.

And it does.
It always does.

Because my way is the highway

that leads to destruction.

Your way is the narrow way

the only way
that leads to joy, fulfillment
