Pray this Lazaroo in absolute trust:

“After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph…”
(Matthew 2:19)

Your mom, Joseph and You had to sit tight, Jesus

until Your Heavenly Father removed the man
who wanted to kill You.

Then Your angel showed up.

In a dream.

That couldn’t have been an ordinary dream!

or Joseph wouldn’t have trusted it.

How will I know if You send an angel to me?

I don’t have to worry, do I?
I’ll know.

Pray this Lazaroo with utter abandon:

“…he has…sent me against the nations that have plundered you…”
(Zechariah 2:8)

I love knowing this about You, Jesus –

that You send Your mighty angel
against those who have attacked Your people.

As I think back about it, that explains a lot.

Wow.

Some will look at what has happened to them as mere coincidence.

I know better.

You watch. You listen. You know.

When someone comes after us, You don’t just take note.
You do something about it.

Pray this Lazaroo in triumphant humility:

“…he has…sent me against the nations that have plundered you…”
(Zechariah 2:8)

That’s all I need to know, Jesus.

There will come a day when You will send Your mighty angel

to right the wrongs
to pay back evildoers
to make sure justice is served
to avenge me of my adversaries.

Of course, I don’t want that angel to visit me!

So I need to be sure that whatever wrongs I’ve committed
are confessed, repented of, forsaken, under Your blood.
