Pray this Lazaroo with no-holds-barred surrender:

“There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the Lord made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt.”
(2 Chronicles 5:10)

At one time, Jesus, the gold jar of manna and Aaron’s staff that had budded were inside the ark.

You don’t tell us why or how these precious items disappeared.

If I’m missing something in our relationship that used to be precious

restore it, dear LORD!

Pray this Lazaroo with total transparency:

“…you will worship God on this mountain.”
(Exodus 3:12)

You love to do this, don’t You, Jesus?

to turn a place of humiliating defeat
into a site of glorious triumph!

You met Moses at Mount Horeb where he was tending someone else’s sheep

informed him that he would return to this mountain

with three million people in tow
to hear Your voice and receive Your law.

O Father!

What will You do here one day

in this place
through me?
