“Arise, Lord, in your anger; rise up against the rage of my enemies. Awake, my God; decree justice. Let the assembled peoples gather around you, while you sit enthroned over them on high.”

When I see evil people getting away with outrageous atrocities, Jesus

this is the kind of prayer I want to pray!

I want the whole world to see what You do
to punish those who sin

Pray this Lazaroo in repentant, trusting submission:

“O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.”
(Psalms 6:1)

Amen, Jesus!

Amen! and Amen! and Amen!

I know I deserve rebuke. I’m fully aware I need to be disciplined.

But not in Your anger, please LORD!
Not while You’re full of wrath!

And You never have.

You’ve walked me to the woodshed countless times
but it’s never been as bad as I’ve deserved.
