It’s a fact, Jesus:

Your enemies will sometimes pretend to be my friends.

Oh, how I need Your guidance, Holy Spirit!

Help me see through them!

May I never be so desperate for friends

that I fall for their lying deception.

Pray this Lazaroo with total transparency:

“…teach what is good.”
(Titus 2:3)

Sounds simple, Jesus.

I should teach good things.

The implication is there, too:

I shouldn’t teach bad things.

Okay, I won’t.

Except…teaching isn’t only talking, is it?

I wonder how effective are the things I say
compared to the things I do?

It’s likely that my example matters more, isn’t it?

It’s old advice, but it’s a fact:

The best way to drive home what I say
is to practice what I preach.

There are a lot of facts out there, Jesus.

Anyone with an eye, an ear, a mouth and a brain can state them.

There are many partial truths floating throughout society

for those who wish to ponder them.

But there’s only one way of truth

only one opportunity to see the whole of it.

You Are The Way

The Truth

and The Life.

No one comes to the Father except through You.
