You were healing every disease and sickness
delivering people from seizures, paralysis and demons
everywhere You went.

But those miracles helped people temporarily.

when they crossed through the Red Sea.

You did it again for Joshua

sending Your people through the River Jordan.

“…Joshua set up at Gilgal the twelve stones they had taken out of the Jordan. He said to the Israelites, ‘In the future when your descendants ask their parents, “What do these stones mean?” tell them, “Israel crossed the Jordan on dry ground.”’”
(Joshua 4:20-22)

You parted the Red Sea for Moses, Jesus.

You parted the waters of the Jordan for Joshua
as Israel entered the promised land.

You know the waters I have to cross, LORD.

What an awesome reminder of that miracle, Jesus!

We need reminders.

Because too often
we forget.

That usually happens

when we ask You for something that isn’t best
and don’t get it.
