Prepare your heart as you pray this Lazaroo:
“But go, show yourself to the priest…”
(Mark 1:44)
You healed this man of leprosy, Jesus.
You sent him to the priest because that’s what the law required.
When the priest confirmed that his leprosy was gone
he would be released from quarantine
allowed to return to society.
But there’s a High Priest to whom I will one day have to show myself:
You.
On that day – through faith in You –
may You proclaim me healed
from my sin-leprosy.
