Pray this Lazaroo in steadfast faith:

“To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.”
(Romans 2:7-8)

Persistence is the key, isn’t it, Jesus?

An occasional good or bad deed doesn’t tell the whole story.

What I do or don’t do doesn’t save me.

But my behavior over time reveals

whether or not I’m saved.

Pray this Lazaroo with white-hot fervor:

“Declare them guilty, O God!”
(Psalms 5:10)

David didn’t pray this prayer over people who’ve merely slipped, Jesus.

When I run into one of those, I beg You to forgive them,
pick them up, teach them, give them another chance.

After all…that’s what You keep doing for me.

But David has run into a few pathological liars

whose souls are wicked to the core.

He knows the heartbreak, ugliness and devastation that bunch can cause

…and so do You.
