“Surely he has done great things! Do not be afraid, land of Judah; be glad and rejoice. Surely the Lord has done great things! Do not be afraid, you wild animals, for the pastures in the wilderness are becoming green. The trees are bearing their fruit; the fig tree and the vine yield their riches.”

It’s all about You, Jesus

not my circumstances.

It doesn’t matter that my present landscape is barren.

You’re faithful.
You’re on Your way.

As I keep my eyes fixed on You

my desert will blossom!

You gave them all they could handle
plus a little more.

As I survey my own landscape

I’d say You’ve done the same for me
with emphasis on the, “plus a little more.” 😉

Oh, sure.

Sometimes, I think I want more
but I’m learning – sometimes the hard way:

I’m still trying to figure out how to handle
what I’ve already got.

Pray this Lazaroo brimming with expectation:

“…toward the sunrise…”
(Numbers 3:38)

That’s where You told Moses and Aaron and his sons to camp, Jesus –

toward the sunrise.

It’s a great place to camp for me, too.

I love the beauty of sunsets
the golden glow they cast over the landscape.

But there’s sadness, there, too
because I know it will soon be dark.

With the sunrise, however, I have more time to do something!

…with what You’ve placed in my heart.

Encamp me toward the sunrise!
