You hear our complaints, Jesus.

They grate on Your ears.

When we insist we don’t have time

to take care of the things that matter to You

we’re about to learn the hard way:

We should have kept our mouths shut.

You’ll appoint someone
to deliver the news.

Pray this Lazaroo with Scriptural balance:

“If I rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be a lawbreaker. For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.”
(Galatians 2:18-19)

Paul was being attacked for the message You gave Him, Jesus:

We’re saved by faith in You
not by the things we do.

But You also wanted him to make crystal clear:

What we do for You matters!

And so does our determination to show our love for You

by living holy lives.
