“…have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God…being found in appearance as a man…humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!
(Philippians 2:5-6, 8)

Here I am mightily struggling to humble myself, Jesus

when only a few things don’t go my way

while for me, You humbled Yourself
all the way to death.

If called upon, help me humble myself as You did

because You’re the Giver of Eternal Life!

“He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David (as he said through his holy prophets of long ago), salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us—to show mercy to our ancestors…”
(Luke 1:69-72)

Your salvation is awesome, Jesus!
