Pray this Lazaroo in growing understanding:

“And the Lord God said, ‘The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.’ So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden…”
(Genesis 3:22-23)

You want us to live forever, Jesus

but not on this earth.

Pray this Lazaroo with over-the-top trust:

“Daughters of Jerusalem, come out, and look, you daughters of Zion. Look on King Solomon wearing a crown, the crown with which his mother crowned him on the day of his wedding, the day his heart rejoiced.”
(Song of Songs 3:10-11)

Is she referring to Solomon’s first wedding, Jesus?

Because in disobedience to You
he took many wives – 700 in all.

Many of them were idol worshipers, who in time turned his heart from You.

Remind me, Jesus!

Pray this Lazaroo in bated breath anticipation:

“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation…”
(1 Peter 2:1)

This is a fascinating command, Jesus.

Many of us who have trusted You as our Savior
view our salvation as a single event.

We said, “Yes!” to the good news
that You paid for our sins on the cross
and three days later rose from the dead.
