Pray this Lazaroo with pure devotion:

“…the baby in my womb leaped for joy.”
(Luke 1:44)

I know late-term babies sometimes leap when they’re startled, Jesus…

but infant John the Baptist leaped for joy
when he heard Your mother’s voice?

Yes.

That’s exactly what happened.
I believe it to the bone.

By normal reckoning, neither of You should have been in any mother’s womb.

But by the miracle-working power of Your Father
according to His plan

You were.

I love it when miracles are afoot!

Pray this Lazaroo in holy fear:

“…he revered me and stood in awe of my name.”
(Malachi 2:5)

That’s who I long to be, Jesus…

…who I hope I am.

True, You’re the friend who sticks closer than a brother.

You’re my savior, my teacher, my helper.

But You’re more – so much more!

You’re the Creator of heaven and earth
the Alpha and the Omega

the one who formed me in my mother’s womb
who can take me out before I draw another breath.
